Amazon India has teamed up with Startup India, under the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT), to support Indian start-ups through e-commerce opportunities. This collaboration will provide start-ups access to Amazon India’s marketplace, offering them the chance to expand their reach and grow their businesses.
Startups registered on Amazon India will benefit from domestic market access, mentorship from Amazon leaders and logistical guidance. Amazon’s Saheli program will also extend specific support to women entrepreneurs, offering them additional resources and business services.
This partnership aims to leverage Amazon’s e-commerce expertise alongside Startup India’s Government-led efforts to foster innovation and entrepreneurship. Start-ups will have access to a range of Amazon services, including Amazon Pay, AWS and Amazon Advertising. Additionally, the collaboration will promote the Bharat Startup Knowledge Access Registry (BHASKAR), a platform that enhances collaboration within India’s start-up ecosystem.
