
The Bear House has opened its first retail store in Chandigarh. The 1,600 sq. ft. high street outlet marks a new phase in the brand’s retail expansion.
The store features a lounge area adjacent to the fitting rooms, providing customers a space to relax while reflecting the brand’s focus on community and comfort. The interiors combine earthy textures with warm tones, creating an environment that balances a European-inspired aesthetic with a welcoming atmosphere.
Co-founders Harsh Somaiya and Tanvi Somaiya said that Chandigarh’s modern design sensibilities and youthful energy made it an appropriate location for the brand’s first store in the city. They highlighted that the store’s design, inspired by cave-like architecture, aimed to offer an immersive customer experience centred on design, comfort, and community.
Founded in 2017, The Bear House has positioned itself in India’s menswear market with a focus on minimalism, precision, and timeless design. The label offers a range of essentials, including shirts, polos, t-shirts, denims, outerwear, boxers, and accessories, crafted with attention to detail and tailored from breathable fabrics.
The brand, which has also established a presence on major e-commerce platforms, including Myntra, Ajio, Flipkart, and Amazon, gained further visibility following its appearance on Shark Tank India Season 4. The Chandigarh store represents a significant step in The Bear House’s ongoing efforts to expand its physical retail footprint and engage with its customer community.
