DaMENSCH, a premium Indian men’s fashion D2C brand, has announced its plans to foray into offline retail business.
With a significant funding of US $ 16.4 million (Rs. 123 crore) that it recently raised, the company is planning to venture into retail stores within this year and be available at 10,000 point of sale avenues across various formats, by 2024.
To take this expansion further, Ashmeer M. Sayyed has been newly appointed as Chief Retail Officer of DaMENSCH. Ashmeer will be responsible for boosting the next stage of the company’s growth, besides spearheading offline sales as well as driving strategic partnership efforts.
Speaking on his appointment, Ashmeer commented, “I am excited to be joining the DaMENSCH growth story at such a crucial juncture in the brand life cycle. The acceptance of the brand by consumers online, in such a short time, presents multiple growth possibilities in other formats. It’s worth noting here that DaMENSCH is a Bengaluru-based brand, which was founded in 2018 by Gaurav Pushkar and Anurag Saboo,and has grown 3X Y-o-Y in last three years.
