Italian fashion brand PERF has entered into a partnership with e-commerce platforms and independent retail chains for distribution of its products in Indian market. The retailer is ready to foray into the Indian market with the launch of its sportswear collection. It is eyeing to grab sales of around Rs. 1,000 crore in the next five years. Products to be sold here will be sourced from Europe, US, UK and Canada.
“We will work with independent retail chains and the target is to be present in 400-500 stores in the next three years depending upon the response from the customers,” PERF CEO Maurizio Corallo was quoted as saying by an Indian news agency. Initially it will start operation in the major metros followed by Tier I and Tier II cities in the country. The retailer is also in talks with multi-branded outlets for distribution.
PERF active wears are now available on Amazon, Jabong, PayTm and Myntra. On Flipkart and Snapdeal, the products would be available for sale from the first week of June.
The retailer will face tough completion from Nike, Adidas and others which have already established their wings in the Indian market.
