Denim manufacturing and supplying company Nandan Denim Ltd. has come up with a new range of protective denim fabric that is potentially anti-bacterial and anti-virus, fighting a majority of concerns during the time of this pandemic.
Aimed at fighting COVID-19, the fabric is being developed at the Ahmedabad-based company’s integrated production facility.
In a statement, the company said that individuals will most likely be more conscious of health, safety and hygiene post-COVID, ushering the world into the era of a ‘new normal’ as businesses return to normalcy.
Therefore, the term ‘sustainable’ will have renewed connotations from the aspect of humans rather than just relating to the environment. The production of such a fabric will be more than grasping a mere business opportunity, and will contribute to the feeling of security and health for people at large.
“Nandan Denim is taking a lead role not only in social responsibility but also in innovation to make people feel more protected and secured in this ‘new normal life’,” commented CEO of Nandan Denim, Deepak Chirpal.
The company is part of Chirpal Group and was established in 1994 as a textile trading business. It now manufactures denim and shirting fabric as well as yarn.
