
Page Industries Ltd., the select licensee of the American undergarment label Jockey International Inc., has proclaimed its strategic focus on pushing growth in the Jockey Juniors category in India for FY 2025, according to a company release issued.
Jockey Juniors debuted in 2019 and has since seen noteworthy growth, gradually ascending. Nihal Rajan, Chief Marketing Officer at Page Industries, remarked, “The Juniors category has been a prime area of focus for us since its beginning. Given the extraordinary growth rate seen in the category, we are keen to strengthen our efforts to support its offerings. Presently, a large portion of sales is produced from metro cities across the country.”
The kidswear range comprises both innerwear and outerwear, featuring vests, shorts, jackets, T-shirts, pyjamas, bloomers and track pants, customised for boys and girls aged 3 to 12 years.
Jockey Juniors is stepping up its marketing initiatives with the start of a new ad film titled ‘Innerwear and Leisurewear for Troublemakers’. Moreover, the brand recently planned an outdoor event named Colour Splash, intended at engaging with its target audience.
Through approved franchisees, the company has opened 188 stores all over India, bringing the whole number of EBOs to 1,382, counting 43 Jockey Woman stores and 64 Jockey Juniors stores, besides specific channel partners around 50 cities as of 2023. Such outlets are stretched across the country, surrounding metro cities as well as several tier 3 and tier 4 towns.
Apart from domestic outlets, Page Industries runs 13 Jockey exclusive stores outside India, with 10 in the UAE, and one each in Sri Lanka, Oman, and Qatar with another store in Sri Lanka presently under development. As per the company’s annual report 2022-23, Jockey is also offered in over 1,18,000 multi-brand outlets and above 1,670 large format stores all across India as of 2022.
