Known for its highly technical sewing solutions, Gütermann with more than 140 years of experience in manufacturing sewing threads for all purposes, would be present at the Texprocess show with its K, L and Salta K Aramid-based threads, Tera endless and Mara thread, suitable for protective clothing for fire-fighters, racing drivers, foundry workers, uniforms for police officers, security patrols and the military. The K, L and Salta K threads under the Aramind range, are made of NOMEX, and guarantee heat resistant up to 360°C. Available in both spun and continuous options, the thread promises high breaking strength, zero fusing and constant seam strength.
One of Gütermann’s best products for withstanding maximum wear and abrasion resistance, the Tera endless thread with its optimal elongation properties and thermal resistance, display absolute seam quality, closed needle holes and a uniform seam, even with fine needles.
The Mara range of threads manufactured with Micro Core Technology (MCT), are the first core spun threads with a microfilament wrapping on the cores itself, lending the MCT thread greater mechanical resistance to stress, a unique degree of uniformity and a silky gloss. Due to less hairiness, the thread creates hardly any fly lint during sewing, while ensuring less soiling of the machine, less maintenance and puckering-free seams.
