Geared up to support the textile industry on testing parameters, NITRA (the Northern India Textile Research Association) is offering state-of-the-art testing facilities at six NABL accredited (ISO/IEC 17025:2005) and BIS recognized laboratories which covers complete gamut of garment & made-ups industry including personal protective clothing, upholsteries , automotive fabrics, etc. The latest Heat & Flame (Fire Testing) laboratory is established with support from Ministry of Textile, and conducts more than 50 kinds of test including chemical characteristics. All these 6 laboratories, situated in Ghaziabad, work 24×7 with facilities available to test samples as per IS, ISO, ASTM, AATCC, DIN, BS, JASO, SAE, EN, NFPA and other customized standards.
Established in 1974, NITRA is deeply involved in research and provides support services to Indian textiles industry with 1200 satisfied clients from India and abroad.
