
Textured Jersey Lanka plc., Sri Lanka’s leading high quality weft knitted fabric manufacturer, was felicitated with the Gold Award in the Textile Category at the National Green Awards Ceremony held at the BMICH recently. The country’s highest Environmental Awards were presented by H.E. the President Mahinda Rajapaksa.
Being the first local corporate to publish a Greenhouse Gas Emission report, Textured Jersey is Sri Lanka’s leader in sustainability initiatives within the textile domain. In addition to pioneering many revolutionary Green practices in production processes, eco-friendly waste management and reduced energy consumption, the company has a string of awards which complements its work and demonstrates its passion and commitment towards these aspirations.
