Masks have become an integral part of our lives as India too moves into ‘new normal’ – and the Apparel Export Promotion Council (AEPC) understands it well.
In a webinar held yesterday (4 September), AEPC announced the launch of an alliance with the Times Group.
Together, AEPC and Times Group will work to promote apparel products, especially masks, not only in India but also across the globe. The ‘new normal’ world will need masks and personal protective equipment (PPE) more.
While inaugurating the joint webinar on ‘Global and Domestic Marketing Opportunities’, Dr. A. Sakthivel, Chairman, AEPC, said, “We hope our association with The Times Group will help strengthen both our domestic and international markets.”
Expressing delight over the alliance, The AEPC Chairman also said that in these tough times, AEPC member exporters have moved into PPE segment and the positive sentiment of doing business with India should be encashed.
The 3-member team from the Times Group shared how the Group builds the ecosystem both within India and internationally to promote brands and products on various media platforms so as to capture a large base of customers spread across the globe.
They also explained, at length, how the Group can be a one-stop destination for all kinds of marketing communications through TV, print, radio, digital and outdoor through their exclusive partnerships with reputed organisations in almost all countries.
The webinar saw the presence of several apparel exporters. These exporters expressed their desire of not only strengthening their customer base in the usual markets of the UK, US, Europe, Canada, Japan and Australia, but also exploring smaller markets of Africa and South America.
It’s yet again a good initiative from AEPC and one hopes the alliance will reap rich dividends for the industry going forward.
