Apparel Training and Design Centre (ATDC) Gurgaon, India recently organized a 10 day-long ‘Campus Placement Drive’ for its students of long-term courses (AVI) at their Gurgaon Campus.
Out of 80 candidates from 12 different centres of ATDC, who participated in the recruitment process, 67 skilled youths have been successfully hired by various apparel companies at the placement drive, organized by the NHO placement cell of ATDC. Students were selected for designations like Assistant Quality Checker, Production, Sampling & Quality Control Departments & Fashion Design Departments, in companies and apparel houses like Myntra.com; RMX Joss; Modelama Exports Ltd.; Pyoginam; Paramount Products Pvt. Ltd.; SABS Exports; Chelsea Mills; Orient Craft, etc.
DG & CEO of ATDC Dr. Darlie Koshy hailed the initiative and said that the Institute is today the largest quality skill provider and the ‘most awarded’ training institution dedicated to apparel sector. She was glad that the prospective employers have found ATDC students’ skills appropriate and relevant for their companies.

One of the recruiters Myntra.com, which hired 10 students in Quality Department, also appeared satisfied with the process. Sharing the experience of recruitment at ATDC, Vivek Singh, HR of the company said, “It was again a great experience to hire these trained resources. We have been hiring from last two years from your different training campus, and the quality of candidates we have got is amazing. Hoping to hire many more in future too.”
