
The Noida police have arrested three people who stole garments of an apparel export house of the city. One of the accused is still absconding.
Notably, stolen apparels worth Rs. 12 lakh have been recovered.
As per media reports, the garments were stolen almost two weeks back while these were being sent to a logistic company for final dispatch of the shipment.
Officials of Eastern Heritage, Noida-based apparel export house, have filed a complaint in this regard and following the same, the police have arrested the thieves.
Around 540 finished pieces have been recovered from the trio, following which they appeared in the court. Subsequently, they have been sent to jail.
During the investigation, the police raided a garment shop in Gadi Chokhandi village and recovered the stolen garments.
The police team, who solved the case, has been rewarded with Rs. 25,000.
