Enthusiastic quarterly results of Indian home textile companies continue!
India’s leading home textile company Indo Count Industries Limited has announced its un-audited financial results for the Q1 ended 30 June 2021.
With 111 per cent growth, the company’s normalised total income stood at Rs. 709 crore, while the profit after tax (PAT) stood at Rs. 117 crore, at a growth of 563 per cent.
The normalised EBIDTA stood at Rs. 128 crore, witnessing a growth of 229 per cent.
Notably, sales volume for Q1 FY22 stood at 18.1 million metres compared to 9.9 million metres for Q1 FY21.
For FY22, the company’s volume guidance is of 85-90 million metres.
The robust performance of the company is backed by unique strategic vision and intuitive management.
Commenting on the results, Anil Kumar Jain, Executive Chairman said, “The results of the first quarter of FY22 demonstrate our unique strategic vision and the resilience of our company’s operating performance, coupled with intuitive management. We are witnessing a demand momentum in our end markets. We continue to remain laser focused on increasing our share in the global and domestic market.”
The company was recently recognised as the ‘top performer’ supplier at Walmart’s Global Sourcing Sustainability Summit.
