According to Ministry of Commerce and Industry (India), the country noted 3.45 per cent downfall in its kidswear during Jan. ’21 to US $ 109.30 million as compared to US $ 113.21 million in Jan. ’20.
Of total kidswear exports, the knitted segment remained positive by 3.91 per cent and clocked US $ 85.34 million. Woven kidswear couldn’t see positivity and declined by 22.91 per cent to US $ 24 million in Jan. ’21.
India registered growth in markets such as USA, UAE and Germany, while the exports of kids clothing dropped in the UK.
