Industry, as well as trade bodies, is concerned regarding tomorrow’s nationwide strike (Bharat Bandh 2020) called by leading labour organisations.
This all-India strike on 26 November has been called by 10 trade unions to protest against Central Government’s alleged anti-labour policies.
Various trade unions have urged workers not to join work on 26 November and take part in agitation.
The union has said that if workers don’t wish to participate in the agitation, then they should remain at home and support the strike.
The central trade unions have claimed that about 25 crore workers are expected to participate in the ‘Bharat Bandh’.
In Noida, one of the leading apparel manufacturing hubs, a delegation of Indian Industries Association (IIA) met the deputy labour commissioner PK Singh and anticipated that unsocial elements can harm the factories.
PK Singh said that like daily, factories should continue their operations tomorrow also. He added that the administration will take strong action in case of any untoward situation.
IIA has advised all the members to take precautions and inform district administration, police as well as IIA office in case of any untoward incident.
