
Krishana Fabrics Limited has reported a standalone total income from operations of Rs. 0.12 crore and a net profit of Rs. 0.02 crore for the quarter ended in December last year. For the quarter ended in December 2014, the standalone total income from operations was Rs. 2.67 crore and net profit was Rs. 0.01 crore.
The company was incorporated as a Public Limited Company under the provisions of the Companies Act, 1956 on November 30, 1981 & obtained the Certificate for Commencement of Business on February 2, 1982 from The Registrar of Companies, Kolkata, West Bengal.

Recently only, Welspun India too reported surge in net profit (21.3 per cent) at Rs. 174.08 crore for the quarter ended in December last year. Similarly Arvind Ltd. noted increase in revenue for the third quarter of the year. Its income surged 4 per cent in the reporting period. Both the companies are big names in the textile business of India.
The companies have manged to do well despite dip in exports to the USA due to the US legislation for Federal procurement which specifies sourcing of raw materials from the selected countries or domestic suppliers.
