Rana Plaza Coordination Committee (RPCC), the center for maintaining funding to the victims of Rana Plaza, reviewed the estimate of the funds required under the compensation arrangement in its 17th meeting. The revised projected funding levels are close to US $ 30 million. The new estimate includes income replacement payments, medical and allied care costs as per a statement released by RPCC. The committee has also decided to authorise supplementary payments subsequent to full payments of all awards calculated under C.121. The release further elaborated that funds worth US $ 21 million have been collected so far and fall short of the requirement by US $ 9 million.
