Wang Tiankai, President of China Textile and Apparel Council (CNTAC) has been elected as the new President of the International Textile Manufacturers Federation (ITMF) for the next two years by the Committee of Management. At the ITMF 2014 Annual Conference in Beijing, the committee also elected Jaswinder Bedi (Kenya) as the Vice President, Peter Gnägi (Switzerland) as ITMF Treasurer and Josué C. Gomez da Silva (Brazil) was appointed as Honorary Life Member of ITMF in recognition to his contribution to the Federation during his six years of service as ITMF Vice President (2008-2012) and ITMF President (2012-2014).
