Jack Sewing Machine Co., Ltd., a leading China-based sewing technology company, is geared up to launch its Internet of Things (IoT) technology in India.
The launch will take place in the upcoming edition of Garment Technology Expo (GTE) in New Delhi which is scheduled to take place from 10 to 13 January 2020.
Jack recently introduced its IoT system in CISMA 2019 for the first time and the overwhelming response from the industry has further encouraged Jack to introduce the same in its largest overseas market India.
It is said that Jack IoT technology can accomplish the seamless link between pre-sewing and sewing processes. All Jack IoT-enabled sewing machines can realise the intelligent communication with products through built-in cost-effective wireless communication technology. Based on this, the sewing machines can effectively collect and process the production data for factories’ information system.
In this way, the apparel manufacturers can easily realise the guidance visualisation and flexibility of process guidance, and the efficiency of the multi-variety batch production will be improved as well.
It’s worth mentioning here that the transformation of traditional factories into digital factories is what Jack aims with this new IoT technology that allows machines and equipment go online and helps save all the data on cloud.
This also makes the production progress transparent, improves the working efficiency and shortens the delivery period by data acquisition from sewing machines and analysis in real time.
Further, the software used for Jack IoT is said to be a connector between vast product portfolios of Jack. As Jack Holding Group has taken over cutting technology pioneer Bullmer, shirt automation leader MAICA and jeans automation juggernaut Vibemac, it has now become easier with its IoT technology to connect all the machines together and send the data on cloud so that factory owners can track live production status.
The information of every machine right from pre sewing to sewing and then finishing will be stored on cloud. Jack IoT software can also be connected with an app. “This technology is one-stop solution for garment style management, production line balance, quality management, data analysis, pieces counting, equipment management, real time tracking of orders and process management. The concept is almost as same as our IPMS technology but we have decided to focus more on IoT as of today,” informed Lucian, Regional Manager, South Asia Department, Jack.
