Shreya Mehrotra, working as a textile designer in the prestigious Indian apparel export house Laguna Clothing, has won the title of Global Miss Asia International India 2019.
The event was held recently in Delhi.
Shreya, who has done Bachelor of Design (B.Des) from NIFT, Patna, will now be representing India at anInternational platform in Singapore, and is fully geared up to follow her passion of becoming Miss India.
Talking to Team Apparel Resources, Shreya informed, “My family and company fully supported me in this regard. Right from school days, it was my dream and now I am more confident for the same.”
Shreya raced ahead of 71 contestants to win the coveted title. During the contest, she was asked a question about one wish to which she replied that her mother should become immortal. “My parents have always motivated me to do whatever I wished to do. It would not have been possible without their support,” she said.
“Follow your passion. If you do the same, every challenge will be overcome, be it managing time or anything,” she concludes when asked what she would like to suggest to people who are new to the apparel and fashion industry.
