The spring resort collection “Nizam” by Delhi-based designer Rajdeep Ranawat will be shown at Lakme Fashion Week for the first time in Mumbai on March 15.
The collection, which features pearls, semi-precious gemstones, opulent silks, and old metallic threads, was inspired by the Hyderabad nobility who have the same name, “Nizam.”
Lakme Fashion Week 2024 is scheduled to take place at the Jio World Convention Centre in BKC Mumbai from March 13th to March 17th.
Commenting on the collection, Rajdeep Ranawat in a statement said, “The ‘Nizam’ collection is a tribute to the timeless allure of Lucknow’s Royal courtesans and the Jewels of the Nizams from Hyderabad, blending history with contemporary sophistication to create garments that are both elegant and enchanting.”
Rajdeep Ranawat is a leading fashion designer with flagship stores in New Delhi, Goa, Hyderabad, and UAE. His creations are available through India’s premier multi-designer stores, including Ogaan, Ensemble, and Pernias Pop-up Shop among many others.
