The UK luxury brand Burberry has revealed their pre-collection for Fall/Winter 2020 and the brand’s creative director, Ricardo Tisci, has taken a dive into the brand’s archives.
The capsule collection is the perfect transitional set of clothes that can make their way into the colder weather. Right from puffed jackets in chevron quilts to the brand’s signature long trench coat, the collection gives hints to the upcoming Fall/Winter collection.
The collection includes a set of camo coordinates that feature the same colourway to that of the iconic Burberry check. The zipped hoodie with matching track pants and boots makes for the perfect outerwear outfit.
The collection’s editorial images feature Irina Shank wearing the infamous Burberry ‘pretzel’ monogram in the form of a body hugging top and biker shorts. Both of them have strategically placed yellow accent shapes that accentuate the chest and slim down the waist while giving a motocross aesthetic.
Seeing the current pandemic which requires protection, it was logical for the brand to reiterate the transparent visor and include it in the collection.
The rest of the collection takes cues from Burberry’s history of extraordinary tailoring which is evident from the iconic trench coat and a black jacket made of thick nylon that has immaculate fit.
The collection will be available later next month on Burberry’s official website.
