Lakmé Fashion Week is all set to usher in a new era of fashion with its digital-first and season fluid edition in India.
Launching the first-ever interactive fashion destination in India, Lakmé Fashion Week is prepped up to bring the Indian fashion world to the screens of the fashion industry on global scale.
Open to one and all, the first ever season-fluid edition will be live streamed online from 21 to 25 October 2020 over a high-tech virtual platform specially created for the event.
COVID-19 has affected the fashion and textile industry dramatically, directly impacting the livelihoods of millions of craftsmen and tailors. This has driven the industry to rethink its role in the world.
As a response towards the current pandemic situation, Lakmé Fashion Week has doubled its efforts in order to support designers and artisans through a Virtual Showroom, with sustainability at its forefront— connecting buyers and consumers to the beauty and fashion industry and thereby towards demand generation for the growth of the industry.

Since its inception, Lakmé Fashion Week has strived to nurture and promote young homegrown talent, taken the lead on the digital front and has been at the helm of initiating conversations on beauty and inclusivity.
The same ethos carries forward this season as well, wherein the platform will showcase innovations as it embarks on a digital journey with several new and disruptive formats of showcases making use of advanced technology.
