Krishna Lamicoat has over the years aquired an international platform to cater to the specialized needs of the paper and film requirements in the cutting room in automated apparel manufacture. The company has a wide product range that have been developed keeping in mind both the chemical & physical behaviour of almost all materials used in the cutting room.
The effort was to keep pace with new developments in technology for automation, which was gaining much more momentum than the developments in peripherals. This has resulted in a knowledge gap in handling the peripherals with the same degree of perfection as the technology on which the peripherals were being used.
Based on an extensive survey of the industry related to the cutting room technology and skill available and required, Krishna Lamicoat has introduced a range of peripheral products that include:
Plotter Paper of consistent functional characteristics that has been a consistent demand by the machinery for efficient and smooth production.
Perforated Paper for high speed running on spreaders retaining the strength of paper in spite of holes without jamming of the machine.
Polymer Film from virgin base material to ensure high speed operation without stretching.
Other products manufactured by the company are – Tissue Paper, Duplex Board or equally strong board for pattern cutting and other varieties of paper for laying, and numbering stickers. Recently they have invested in a complete in-house production facility of adhesive coating of paper to improve the quality of products even further.
Manufacturing in a built-up area of 50,000 sq. ft. the team at Krishna Lamicoat is led by Executive Head, Amar Chhajer and supported by son Ashok. The company also has in-house facility for manufacturing moisture proof laminates, waist bands in different specifications, as well as customized requirements in papers and films.
After successful participation in a number of International fairs the company will be showcasing its high quality offerings at IMB, Cologne.
