Established in 1982, Voltex is a manufacturer of innovative machinery facilitating the development of several products used in India and abroad in applications as diverse as hosiery, knitwear, garment and textile finishing and processing. The company is today run successfully by the father-son duo with a vision to cater to the modern machinery requirements at national and international levels.
The company is focusing to provide value-added technology to the exporters. “Unlike the garment industry two decades back from now, exporters are looking to adopt value-added technology as the buyers have started looking at options of products to be processed under one roof. This helps in adding value to the product and the person using it,” states Parvinder Dhami, Managing Partner, Voltex Electrical Engineers. The company is upbeat that with the range of machines that it offers, business in 2011 will certainly be upward.
The most enquired products of the company in the recent months are Foam Lamination machine and Powder Scatter Coating machine. “Foam Lamination machine” is suitable to laminate P.U. foam with woven, non-woven knitted, natural or synthetic fabrics, leather or foil, etc. Consisting of three nip-rollers, lamination takes place immediately after
the skin melting process of P.U. foam with L.P. gas burner. The machine is also equipped with pneumatically operated, hard chrome plated Nip-Rollers, L.P. gas burner, foam and winding/batching station, working platform, ventilation blower, variable speed motors for laminator and winder, electric control panel, gas and pneumatic controls.
The “Powder Scatter Coating machine” is suitable to coat L.D. or Eva powder on all types of industrial and domestic fabrics and has electrically heated, water cooled nip rolls and electrically regulated powder quantity. Other machines offered by the company are Continuous Curing machine, Screen Printing machine, Scatter Coating machine, Fabric Inspection machine, Fabric Batching machine, Tumbler Dryer, Flash Curers, Transfer/Fusing machine.
According to Parvinder, “After the slowdown of last two years now everybody has started looking and is ready to invest in new products. He also finds that the exporters from north India are more exposed to the quality but a bit unprofessional as compared to the southern part of India.” With presence in all manufacturing hubs, Voltex is confident that as exporters concentrate more on quality and to add value to their offerings the product range that it is supplying will find takers in all the hubs.
