The India International Knit Fair, a yearly event planned by the India Knitfair Association in Tiruppur, is scheduled to be held from 4th-6th September this year. A press release released by A. Sakthivel, the chairman of the association, on Wednesday, declared that the 51st edition of the fair will focus on displaying the spring-summer collection for 2025, themed “Preserving our Planet through Innovation and Circularity.”
In partnership with several major industry entities like the Association of Buying Agents for Textiles, the Brands and Sourcing Leaders Association, the Sourcing Consultants Association, and the NIFT-A (Association of NIFT Alumni), the association predicts welcoming more than 300 buyers, sourcing agents, and liaison consultants to the event.
The event will be conducted in collaboration with the Apparel Export Promotion Council, bringing together garment, apparel, and textile manufacturers, buyers, and sourcing experts under one roof.
Support for the fair is also coming from different industry bodies like the Tirupur Exporters Association, Apparel and Handloom Exporters Association, Handloom Export Promotion Council, and the Karur Textile Manufacturer Exporters’ Association.
