The fast fashion omnichannel womenswear company Libas has declared that the Indian Green Building Council (IGBC) has granted its Noida headquarters the Platinum Green Building Rating.
The 1,20,000-square-foot Libas headquarters is a corporate-plus-factory structure with state-of-the-art sustainable features. The building, which spans six levels, blends eco-friendly ingenuity with practicality. Integrating cutting-edge green construction features that assist the brand in lessening its environmental impact is at the core of this accomplishment. The company’s headquarters is a zero-waste facility that uses biophilic design to provide a more inspiring and healthy work environment for its staff while also encouraging a close relationship with nature.
One of the building’s green features is a 327 kW on-site renewable energy system that greatly lessens reliance on non-renewable energy sources. A healthier work environment is guaranteed by the improved interior air quality, and water conservation is aided by the rainwater collection system that can handle 100 per cent of the runoff volumes. Electric vehicle (EV) charging stations are also available at the headquarters to aid in the shift to environmentally friendly transportation.
Libas’ founder and CEO, Sidhant Keshwani, commented on the noteworthy achievement, saying, “Achieving the Platinum Green Building Rating is a noteworthy accomplishment that demonstrates our dedication to ethical and progressive methods.”
