Leading textile and clothing firm Raymond Ltd. reported a 61 per cent year-over-year (YoY) decline in net profit for the third quarter ending 31st December 2024, at US $ 8.67 million. Raymond reported a net profit of US $ 22.4 million in the same quarter of the previous fiscal year.
The company’s operating revenue increased 40.6 per cent to US $ 11.5 million from US $ 8.1 million in the previous quarter. In the third quarter of this fiscal year, EBITDA increased 75.3 per cent to US $ 1.7 million at the operating level compared to US $1 million in the previous year.
The EBITDA margin, which stands for earnings before interest, tax, depreciation, and amortisation, was 14.5 per cent during the reporting quarter as opposed to 11.6 per cent during the same period in the previous fiscal year.
