For the third quarter that concluded in December 2024, value-fashion retailer V-Mart Retail Ltd. recorded a 154 percent increase in net profit to US $ 8.3 million, compared to US $ 3.4 million in the same quarter the previous year.
Compared to US $ 107 million in the same quarter of the previous fiscal year, the company’s revenue for the quarter increased by 15 per cent to US $ 123 million.
V-Mart reported a 10 percent year-on-year increase in same-store sales growth for Q3 FY ’25. The company continues to focus on its store expansion strategy and opened 21 new stores during the quarter, bringing the total number of stores across India to 488 by the end of the quarter.
V-Mart is a network of omni-retail stores that was founded in 2022 and is well-known in tier 2 and 3 cities in India. It sells kirana, fashion clothing, footwear, home furnishings, and miscellaneous products.
