
Apparel Group India has hired Aditi Chakravarty as its new Head of Marketing. Making the announcement on LinkedIn, Chakravarty posted her anticipation for filling the role, describing herself as grateful and excited for the challenge.
Chakravarty has a career that cuts across luxury, FMCG, retail, and digital-first companies. She most recently worked at Moët Hennessy India, where she led the single malts business of Glenmorangie and Ardbeg. There, she established India as a global priority market by leading omni-channel campaigns, new product introductions, and premium brand experience.
Previously, at OmniActive Health Technologies, she assisted in scaling Setu Nutrition with an emphasis on its direct-to-consumer approach while defining brand-building and performance marketing efforts.
Her career started at Unilever, where she managed global communications and innovation for Lifebuoy and launched Aviance, the first premium skincare online-only cosmetics brand for the company. She has also been in strategic and client management positions at Brandtone, PepsiCo, and DCM Shriram, with thorough exposure to consumer knowledge, retail, and FMCG markets across emerging economies.
