The Sourcing Professionals Alliance (SPA) hosted a Meet & Greet Evening, marking a significant milestone for the sourcing and buying fraternity. The event, conceptualised and led by Vishal Dhingra, brought together over 110 buying agents and liaison offices, making it one of the first large-scale gatherings of its kind within the industry.
SPA has also expanded its industry footprint through participation in six trade shows, including two international exhibitions, reinforcing its growing global presence and outreach.
Chief Founding Patron Vishal Dhingra emphasised the importance of unity, professionalism and collective growth, urging members to actively contribute towards building a credible and robust industry platform.
SPA President Amul Mehrotra highlighted the association’s guiding philosophy, stating that it is driven by the principle of “One Team, One Vision, One Direction”.
Vice President Tanya Bhatia outlined the organisation’s vision and objectives, noting that SPA is committed to fostering collaboration, transparency and sustainable growth within the sourcing ecosystem.
Sanjeev Jain, General Secretary of SPA, expressed appreciation to the guests, members and organising team, and reaffirmed the association’s commitment to driving impactful initiatives and working collectively for the advancement of the industry and its members.
The event was attended by several distinguished dignitaries, including Jiro Kodera, Counsellor of Economy and Development at the Embassy of Japan in New Delhi, and Ibrahim Mohammed, Commercial Counsellor and Head of Commercial and Economic Affairs at the Embassy of Egypt in New Delhi.
The evening concluded with a networking session aimed at facilitating meaningful engagement among members and stakeholders.
