Entrepreneur and investor Jaimin Gupta has officially taken over as Managing Director and Chairman of Aarvee Denims & Exports Ltd., a well-known brand in India’s textile and denim production sector, after acquiring the firm in September.
On his agenda for the company are a transition to purpose-driven growth, with a strong focus on sustainability, improved operational performance, and building a culture that is based on accountability and contemporary leadership methods.
Gupta explained in a social media announcement that their agenda is establishing a modern leadership framework, producing high-quality sustainable goods, and cultivating a future-focused culture across the organisation.
In addition to his new role at Aarvee Denims, Gupta is best known for establishing Stitched Textiles Pvt. Ltd., a leading men’s wear and innerwear retailing business with more than 50 stores spread across the nation. He is also the Director of Viru Retail Pvt. Ltd., a joint venture with cricket legend Virender Sehwag, which aims to build the VS sportswear brand.
In addition, Gupta is Managing Director of Barcelona Club, a male apparel company of Stitched Textiles, cementing his deep penetration in India’s retail and fashion industries.
