
Leading e-commerce player Amazon is set its next sale event in India which is catering to kids-only. The fifth edition of ‘Kids Carnival’ kicked off on 11th November and will conclude on 14th November. The sale has come just days after a successful Diwali sale event for the e-retailer.
The retailer is offering discounts up to 70 per cent on more than 6 lakh products ranging from apparel, footwear and others.
In a press statement issued, Manish Tiwari, Vice President, Category Management, Amazon India said that the winter festive season is generally the most awaited event and after Diwali. “The success that the company managed during the Diwali sales, it’s time to offer something special to our youngest customers and their families through the Kids Carnival on Amazon, this children’s day,” Manish said.
Notably, top apparel and accessories brands such as Mothercare and Snuggles, exclusive labels of Amazon, United Colors of Benetton, Disney, Lego, and others are a part of the sale event.
The Vice President further added that offering various toys, fashion and entertainment for kids and babies on Amazon, the leading retailer has curated a segment for at affordable prices along with fast and efficient delivery to 100 per cent serviceable pin codes throughout the nation.
Additionally, according to media reports, Amazon’s sales were up by 73 per cent during the FY 2018 period, registering a 33 per cent higher margin against its arch-rival in India Flipkart who managed 40 per cent surge in the same time period.
