Arvind Fashions has appointed Amisha Jain as its future Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, with her new role to become operational on 13th August. She succeeds Shailesh Chaturvedi, who will remain available for a smooth transition.
A seasoned executive with over 25 years of cross-industry experience, Jain most recently served as Managing Director and Senior Vice President for Levi Strauss & Co., overseeing South Asia, the Middle East, Africa, and non-EU markets. She confirmed her departure and new role via a LinkedIn post, expressing deep gratitude for her tenure at Levi’s and pride in the team’s collective achievements across the SAMEA region.
Jain’s professional experience runs the gamut of international brands and positions. She started off at Motorola Inc., eventually becoming Senior Manager, and then later worked on the strategic building of Nike India as an independent consultant. At McKinsey & Company, she was Engagement Manager, and advised C-suite executives from retail, consumer-packaged goods, and technology industries on strategy, innovation, and operations.
Her stint at Nike also involved a leadership position as National Head of Sales and Distribution in India, managing all product verticals and retail channels. Jain is familiar with Arvind Fashions too—having held positions at COO and Executive Vice President at Arvind Sports Lifestyle, prior to becoming CEO of lingerie brand Zivame.
With a proven history of leading transformation and building brands on a large scale, Jain is poised to reintroduce her strategic acumen and industry expertise to Arvind Fashions at a critical juncture in its growth narrative.
