Sportswear brand Asics has opened a new brick-and-mortar store in Pune to expand its footprint in Maharashtra. Located in Amanora Mall, the store offers a variety of clothing, footwear, and accessories for different sports.
“Step up your game with Asics, now open at West Block, Ground Floor, Amanora Mall,” announced the shopping centre on Facebook.
The store features large digital screens on its façade and a bright, modern interior. Products are displayed in segments, with a dedicated wall for sneakers. Asics, known for its running wear, offers brightly coloured apparel for both men and women.
The store launched with Asics’ new ‘Nagino Collection’, which blends performance with style. Asics joins other Indian and international brands such as Azorte, Forever 21, and Go Colors in the mall, all of which have recently opened outlets there. In the past few months, Asics has also opened stores in locations like Thiruvananthapuram’s Lulu Mall.
Founded by Kihachiro Onitsuka as a basketball shoe manufacturer, Asics is headquartered in Kobe, Japan. In India, the brand is available through franchise stores, multi-brand outlets, its own e-commerce platform, and various multi-brand platforms.
