Baazar Style Retail Limited has opened three new Style Baazar stores in Silapathar, Assam, and Tajpur and Bettiah in Bihar, taking its total store count to 290 as of November 1, 2026.
The latest expansion follows the company’s continued retail network growth during the second quarter of FY27. As of September 30, 2026, its network stood at 283 stores, marking a 13% year-on-year (YoY) increase.
During Q2 FY27, the company added 14 stores and closed seven as part of its expansion and portfolio optimisation strategy.
The company reported revenue from operations of Rs 4,781 million in Q2 FY27, down 10% YoY. The decline was primarily attributed to a shift in festive demand, with Durga Puja falling in Q2 FY26 compared with Q3 FY27.
For the first half of FY27 (H1 FY27), revenue from operations grew 6% YoY to Rs 9,645 million.
Its total rental area increased 16% YoY to 26.69 lakh sq. ft. as of September 30, 2026. Sales per square foot stood at Rs 642 per month in Q2 FY27, compared with Rs 865 in the corresponding quarter last year. For H1 FY27, the figure was Rs 660 per month against Rs 768 in H1 FY26.
The latest store additions further strengthen Baazar Style Retail’s presence in eastern and northeastern India, as it continues to expand its value-focused apparel and lifestyle retail business across smaller cities and emerging markets.
