
Popees Baby Care is accelerating its international expansion, with a strong focus on the Gulf region. The company, which already has a presence in the UAE, is planning to open around ten new showrooms in Dubai this year. Further expansion is on the cards in other GCC countries, including Saudi Arabia, Bahrain and Qatar.
With its own office and showroom in the UK and upcoming launches in Australia, Popees is actively building a global footprint. The brand, known for its comprehensive range of children’s apparel and products, is capitalising on the growing demand in international markets.
Last month, Popees marked its entry into the UAE with two new stores. Founded in 2003, the company now employs over 2,000 people and has over two decades of manufacturing experience in the children’s wear segment with a production capacity of 5 lakh garments every month.
Back home in India, Popees continues to grow its retail footprint as well. The company has just opened its 95th store in Kalpetta, Kerala. The store was inaugurated by Kalpetta Municipal Chairman T.J. Isaac, alongside Kalpetta NSS President Sudhakaran, Popees Baby Care Group Business Head Sunil George, Admin & Project Head Krishna Kumar, Operations Manager Mithun, and Marketing Brand Manager Aneeta Jose.
