Bombay Shirt Company, a relatively new clothing start-up, aims to raise Rs. 56.6 crore!
A venture capital firm, Lightbox Ventures, is helping the start-up with such a big money. The Mumbai-based Bombay Shirt Company plans to enhance its menswear category by introducing a range of denim and trousers.
Besides, the company will be using the capital to automate its production and supply chain, with the intent of providing seamless experience to customers.
The company has also announced that it plans to expand its physical presence in around 50 locations in next year and a half.
Currently, the Bombay Shirt Company has 16 outlets across India, Dubai and New York.
Its personalised shirts, curated for every customer, while ensuring zero inventory and wastage, has won the company quite a few loyalists in last 7 years.
The Lightbox Ventures was started in 2014 by Sandeep Murthy, Siddharth Talwar and Prashant Mehta.
