Footwear producer Campus Activewear Ltd. accounted a 43 per cent increase in net profit to Rs 33 crore for the fourth quarter finishing 31st March.
In the current quarter, the company saw a 5 per cent growth in revenue to Rs 364 crore, in comparison to Rs 348 crore in the same quarter of the last fiscal year.
For FY 2024, Campus Activewear witnessed a net profit of Rs 89 crore, with sales revenue tallying Rs 1,448 crore.
Nikhil Agarwal, CEO of Campus Activewear, remarked on the results, stating, “We see FY ’24 as a intermediary period. In the final half of FY ’24, Campus Activewear bounced back strongly, with a improved focus on trade distribution and fresh product launches. The company successfully captured customers’ attention and expenditure through planned investments in R&D-driven products.”
“Even with a demanding business landscape, our pledge to fortifying our financial position remained steadfast. In FY ’24, the company cleared its loan of Rs 156 crore, attaining a net-debt free status,” he shared.
All through the fiscal year, the company prolonged its presence by launching 66 new stores in southern, western, and eastern regions of India, bringing the entire store count to over 250.
