Footwear brand, Campus Activewear has expanded its base by foraying into the Sri Lankan market. The brand made inroads with a Signature menswear partnership – the menswear brand that operates under Sri Lanka’s Hameedia Group.
This strategic entry into the value-driven Sri Lankan market further pushes Campus Activewear’s agenda of capturing the global market. Also, supported by its strong omnichannel presence and distribution network, Campus Activewear will retail its products via not only the showrooms of Signature and its website but also through H-Sports outlets.
Speaking about tapping into the Sri Lankan market, CEO & Whole Time Director of Campus Activewear Ltd, Nikhil Aggarwal said that this collaboration aligns with Campus Activewear’s brand philosophy and is a step towards entering the high-potential and scalable markets, which are backed by fashion-conscious consumers. Aggarwal also added that the aim in Sri Lanka is to have the same level of success, as in India.
The partnership will have the brand rolling out its lifestyle and sports range and in this regard, Amjad Hameed, Director of Signature, expressed that brands like Campus Activewear resonate with the ethos of Signature as it believes in offering customers, style and comfort. Hameed also stated that he is confident that this collaboration will level up and redefine the footwear landscape in Sri Lanka.
