Cantabil Retail, an apparel and accessory retailer, has made bold intentions to increase its market share in India. The company intends to open 70–80 new locations in 2025, concentrating its efforts on brick-and-mortar expansion.
In 20 Indian states, Cantabil has more than 550 exclusive brand stores. This year, the company also intends to expand its production capacity to support its offline expansion.
According to Deepak Bansal, director of Cantabil Retail, the company must improve its production capabilities in accordance with current market trends in order to boost same-store sales growth.
The Bahadurgarh production facility’s current capacity will be increased with a significant amount of the expenditure. With a compound annual growth rate of 16 per cent to 17 per cent year over year, the company wants to maintain its current growth rate while working to raise it to 18 per cent to 20 per cent.
As a stepping stone towards this expansion, the company has launched its latest store in Ranchi. In addition to a variety of formal and casual clothing, the Ranchi store offers accessories, undergarments, and personal care products including body sprays for both men and women. When the store first opened, customers could take advantage of a variety of promotions, such as 50 per cent off of chosen items.
