Marketer of style-focused lifestyle brands, Cherokee Global Brands has inked a license agreement with Ahold Czech Republic, a division of the Netherlands-based Ahold, to launch Cherokee-branded products in the region.

Speaking on joining forces with Ahold to expand its foothold in the Czech Republican market, Howard Siegel, President & CEO of the company said, “The Cherokee brand has had a long and marketable history throughout Central Europe. We are very excited to partner with Ahold and build upon the existing awareness of the Cherokee brand in the Czech Republic. Our 360 degree platform provides Ahold with turn-key design, merchandising and implementation solutions that will ensure speed to market, in addition to immersive, engaging in-store experiences for Albert customers. We look forward to forging a successful, long-term partnership with Ahold in the Czech Republic.”
Under the agreement, a wide range of Cherokee products including men’s, women’s and children’s apparels, essentials, footwear and accessories will be launched in more than 80 of Albert’s 330 stores in the Czech Republic beginning Fall 2016. Ahold will work with the company’s in-house design and marketing teams to launch Cherokee shop-in-shops within Albert stores.
