
Reliance Retail has reached a significant milestone in its partnership with global fashion brand Gap, opening its 50th store in India at the Phoenix Palladium Mall in Mumbai. This latest store opening further solidifies the strong partnership between the two companies, with Reliance Retail serving as the exclusive retailer for Gap across all channels in the Indian market.
The new Gap store features the brand’s latest collections including denim, logo products, and khakis for the entire family.
Akhilesh Prasad, President & CEO of Fashion & Lifestyle at Reliance Retail Limited has said that they are thrilled with Gap’s retail evolution in India and the new store launch. He also talked about the brand offering elevated shopping experience with ‘smart trial rooms’ and ‘endless aisle options’.
Facundo Ginobili, SVP of Franchise and Wholesale at Gap Inc., also echoed the sentiments of enthusiasm for the partnership’s growth. The SVP further said that the new launch also reflects the ‘strong demand’ for the brand in India.
