After collaborating with designers like Karl Lagerfeld, Matthew Williamson, Stella McCartney, Comme des Garçons, Jimmy Choo, Lanvin and Versace, H&M is now to be associated with the Italian design house Marni. Characterized by a very playful and colourful Marni vibe, this special collection is for Spring 2012. Designed for both men and women, the new collection will be released on March 8, 2012 at stores worldwide and online. Consuelo Castiglioni, Marni’s founder and creative director said, “I wanted to create a true Marni wardrobe by revisiting all our favourite pieces in signature fabrics and prints. As always, I love juxtaposing prints and colours, mixing modern tribal with Bauhaus graphic adding sporty utilitarian elements.” It seems that the brand is setting a new image for itself through its numerous capsule collections.
