Four Indian Premier League (IPL) teams have teamed with actor Hrithik Roshan’s fitness apparel company HRX to provide their official fan merchandise.
The IPL teams Mumbai Indians, Kolkata Knight Riders, Gujarat Titans, and Delhi Capitals will wear jerseys made by HRX for the current season as part of the agreement.
Commenting on the partnership, Pallavi Barman, business head of HRX in a statement said, “IPL is a perfect integration to have in terms of merchandising, but sports is something HRX focuses towards, and this is the ecosystem that we want to build. It’s all about catering to the Indian masses, as we Indians are extremely passionate about sports.”
HRX is dedicated to fostering local and hyperlocal relationships in addition to major events like the IPL as India’s homegrown brand. HRX’s dedication to sports and its expanding position in the Indian market are strengthened by the cooperation with IPL, added Barman.
Hrithik Roshan and Exceed Entertainment founded HRX in 2013, and it now operates across India through its retail stores and top e-commerce sites.
