
Ikea, the Swedish home furnishing retailer, has appointed Adosh Sharma as its new Country Expansion Manager, who will take over the responsibilities from Per Hornell and will now lead Ikea India’s omnichannel expansion and growth plans to reach more people in the country.
According to media reports, Adosh’s appointment is aimed at strengthening Ikea’s leadership team in India.
“…I am delighted to be back at Ikea and excited to begin my journey as Ikea continues to move closer towards the vision of creating a better everyday life…,” maintained Adosh reacting to his appointment as the new Country Expansion Manager.
Adosh, who will report to the CEO of Ikea India Susanne Pulverer is, reportedly, a seasoned professional with over 20 years of experience in retail and has worked in various capacities in various geographical locations including Middle East, India and North Africa.

Meanwhile, in a separate development, Forever New, the Melbourne-based premium fashion brand, has appointed Shivani Goel as Vice-President Marketing, who in her new role, will, reportedly, lead the brand communications across all channels, retail marketing and public relations and brand strategy with a focus on excellence in CRM, digital marketing, e-commerce dominance, influencer management and the brand ambassador programme.
