Indian retailers are continuously coming up with various developments, with the focus not just on store expansion, but also on adding new product lines and new collections.
Delhi-based luxury women’s traditional wear brand Mulmul has launched its first ever westernwear collection as the brand diversifies its product selection. It is known for its highly feminine kurta sets featuring lace details, pastel hues and delicate motifs.
Stepping into westernwear, the brand has launched a new line of loose fit yet tailored separates in pure white hues.
The collection’s simple colour palette is contrasted by its delicate detailing which renders the garments as luxury pieces. The collection has a mix of floral and geometric detailing and is designed for the summer season. Notable items include long-line waistcoats and cropped trousers featuring geometric cutouts.
Mulmul was launched as an e-commerce brand in 2018 and has ambitious bricks-and mortar expansion plans for 2022. The brand plans to open seven new stores to bring its total store count to 15.
Similarly, Harbour 9, a weekend-wear brand, has launched a wide range of women’s apparel line as the brand aims to tap the womenswear market and bank on its affordable pricing to make inroads in this segment.
The newly launched women’s range will be available on the brand’s website and other e-commerce platforms.
“The thoughtfully curated range of woman clothing from Harbour 9 is here. We started humbly with Harbour 9 man. Having witnessed unfathomed success, we decided to roll out the brand-new exclusive line of women’s apparel.
