One of the biggest producers of bed linens for home textiles worldwide, Indo Count, has partnered with Iconix International Inc. to licence Fieldcrest and Waverly brands for use in US and Canadian markets. With the successful acquisition of WAMSUTTA, Indo Count’s position in the US market is further cemented by this calculated move.
The recently established licencing agreements cover an extensive array of product categories, such as bath and window treatments, sheets, fashion and utility bedding, and more. With this transaction, Indo Count’s brand portfolio is considerably strengthened, improving its capacity to serve a variety of US and Canadian customer sectors.
Established in 1893, Fieldcrest has been a trusted name in quality bedding and bath products, originating from the textile mills of North Carolina. Founded in 1923 by F. Schumacher & Co., a maker of exclusive European fabrics, Waverly was created to bring stylish home décor to the emerging American market.
Fieldcrest and Waverly’s broad demographic appeal enables Indo Count to successfully target various customer demographics, increasing overall market penetration. Indo Count’s dedication to growing its value-added business is reinforced by these relationships, which set the company up for long-term growth and success in the international market.
Mohit Jain, Executive Vice Chairman of Indo Count said, “We are thrilled to partner with Iconix to bring these iconic brands to a broader audience in North America. Fieldcrest and Waverly are synonymous with quality, style, and tradition. This partnership aligns perfectly with our commitment to delivering exceptional home textile products that meet the diverse needs of consumers.”
Bob Galvin, CEO of Iconix International Inc., expressed his enthusiasm about the partnership, stating, “We are excited to collaborate with Indo Count, a company that shares our dedication to quality and innovation.”
