
Top CEOs of e-commerce and digital-first brands said that innovation is at the centre of growth for businesses and it is imperative for brands to invest in technology and digital transformation to add efficiency across the value chain.
In the E-commerce & Digital Natives Summit 2022, by ET Retail, Vineeth Nair, CEO, Ajio, said that the innovation impacts every element of the value chain.
Highlighting a key factor driving growth of brands, Utkrishta Kumar, CXO- Business, Meesho said that vernacular and going into regional languages is now a table-skate.
To share the Government’s outlook for the industry, Dr. Jivisha Joshi Gangopadhyay, DPIIT, Ministry of Commerce and Industry said that the focus is to drive innovation and industry growth.
He further added, “We are looking at standardisation in supply chain and logistics sectors.”
On the same note, Satish Venkatachaliah discussed how brands are building seamless omnichannel experience for consumers and how consumers today are coming to retail stores for an experience which they are not able to get on screen.
