The largest Levi’s store to date in Kerala has opened in Kochi, home to the denim and casual wear brand. The 4,000 square foot private brand outlet is situated on the busy MG Road in the city.
Head of business development for Levi Strauss & Co. in India Abhinav Agarwal shared pictures of the store on Linkedin with the caption, “Launching the god’s own country’s largest Levi’s store at MG Road, Kochi.”
The store carries footwear, accessories, and casual western clothing in addition to Levi’s iconic denim assortment for men and women. The company has been working to increase its physical presence in the Indian market, and last month it opened two redesigned “Icon” stores in Mumbai. Last year, Levi’s also opened its biggest store in India, spanning 7,521 square feet, in Bengaluru.
Founded in 1853, Levi Strauss and Co. is well-known for their blue denim trousers. According to its website, the company’s current portfolio includes Beyond Yoga, Dockers, Signature, Denizen, and Levi’s. This corporation uses an omni-channel strategy to sell its products in over 110 countries globally.
